22-6-2009 European Cycling Union (UEC)

The European Cycling Union is a continental confederation of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The UEC was founded on 7th April 1990 in Zurich (SUI) in the presence of representatives of 18 countries. Currently 48 countries are members of the UEC.

Our main tasks are to develop the cycling sports in Europe in all disciplines and to organise cycling events such as European Championships and European Cups.

Today the UEC is organising more than 50 days a year competitions in all cycling disciplines with several thousands participants.

Every year will take place a UEC congress.
