12-7-2010 European MTB championship Haifa 2010 has ended!

Kulhavy Jaroslav from the Czech Republic won the Elite Men race and grant his country the first Gold medal. Earlier today Leumann Katrine won her second gold medal when won the Elite Women race.

26 national teams, 200 riders, 300 delegation members, trainers, technical helpers and 5,000 spectators completed a successful championship in Haifa, Israel.

UEC General Secretary, Mr. Ronald Hofer, said at the press conference at the end of the day, that it was one of the most successful championships, well organized, beautiful circuit and wonderful spectators.

In the summary of medals of the competition, Switzerland is the big winner of the 2010 MTB championship with 5 gold medals out of 7 and 8 medals total.
