6-10-2011 International Fair of Bicycle Industry KIELCE BIKE-EXPO

The second edition of the International Fair of Bicycle Industry is held from 7th to 9th October 2011. Last year the exhibition was attended by over 3000 industry professionals – the representatives of 500 retail outlets and wholesale establishments from all over Europe.

This year European Cycling Union was invited to take over honorary patronage over the event. Wojciech Walkiewicz, UEC President, was happy to accept the invitation.

Targi KIELCE BIKE-EXPO 2011 will surely be attractive. And there is much more on offer besides the participation of Polish and international leaders of the business sector who come to Kielce to present their products. The exhibition will be accompanied by the whole array of events, and among them the final of Poland's largest Bike Marathon. This event will bring together over 1000 participants.

Apart of that, Management Commitee of the European Cycling Union will meet on Sunday, October 9th, in order to discuss various problems of cycling in Europe as well as different ideas to develop European cycling in 2012.

The events like KIELCE BIKE – EXPO create a platform to discuss the future of cycling as well as the expansion and modernisation of bicycle routes. European Cycling Union is the right partner for such discussion.
