30-3-2012 New decisions by the UEC Management Committee The UEC Management Committee meeting took place on March 2nd in Segovia, Spain. Members of the Board made some decisions concerning the activities of European Cycling Union.

First of all, new European Championships have been allocated, mainly: 2013-2015 Road Masters to Sardinia (ITA) and 2015 Road U23/Juniors to Tartu (EST).

After the approval of the European Olympic Committee, category "Women" will be added in the next European Youth Olympic Festival in 2013 in Ultrecht (NED). Members of the UEC Management Committee share the opinion that the number of the competitions for youth should be increased.

Finally, Mr. Walkiewicz proposed to activate UEC Road Commission. It was decided that Mr. Roland Hofer (SUI) will take over leads of the commission as a President and Mr. Alexander Gusyatnikov (RUS) will assist him as a member of the commission.
