- We were a great team – said the winner – we dominated the race from the start. I dedicate my European shirt to my teammates and especially to Le Gac, current world champion, who protected me in the final metres.

After three days of racing, France is top of the heap with three gold and three silver medals. Italy is in second place with two golds, then Russia with one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
