21st Annual General Meeting of the representatives of European Cycling Federations took place on March 7th in Alanya, Turkey.

The European Cycling Union (UEC) was founded on 7th April 1990 in Zurich (SUI) in the presence of representatives of 18 countries. Currently 48 countries are members of the UEC.

The President of the European Cycling Union, Mr. Wojciech Walkiewicz, granted the Cycling Federation of Serbia, all cyclists and cycling workers, coaches and experts, with the great honour and pleasure of his presence by accepting the invitation from the President of the Cycling Federation of Serbia, Mr. Dragan Dostanic, to attend the Ceremonial Academy in celebration of 125 years of cycling as a sport in Serbia, which was held in the main hall of the building of the National Assembly of Serbia.

EYOF: girls participation in cycling events [Fot. Trabzon 2011] EYOF: girls' participation in cycling events 2009-12-17
Following the request of some of European Cycling Federations to allow girls to participate in summer EYOF, UEC turned to Patrick Hickey, President of the European Olympic Committees. Our aim is to introduce cycling events for girls at EYOF starting from the Festival in 2011 in Trabzone.
